Harry Kane’s mammoth summer is under way, with the Tottenham and England star set to rack up an estimated 31,911 miles before the start of the next Premier League season.

The striker played 53 times for club and country during his breakthrough 2014/15 campaign but will have little time to put his feet up before the new season.

His commitments for Spurs and England U21s mean he’ll travel a distance equivalent to 1.3 times around the world in the ‘off-season’.

Kane is set to fly at least 31,911 miles, enough to fly around the earth one and a quarter times.

Spurs’ summer adventures began with a post-season tour to Malaysia – where Kane netted a double against a Malaysia XI – and Australia, to face Sydney FC.

The squad will then make the 10,571 mile journey back to London. While many of the players will head for the beach, Kane will link up the U21 squad – their first game at the European Championships kicks off in Czech Republic on June 18.

If England make the Jun 30 final, Kane will then have less than a month before flying to Denver, USA, where Spurs face an MLS All-Stars team on July 29.

After a 4,791 mile flight home, Kane will then need to prepare for the 2015/16 Premier League season which begins on August 8.
