Mauricio Pochettino has insisted he will not start to think about boosting his Tottenham Hotspur squad until after the January transfer window has opened on Thursday.
Tottenham will go into the new year within touching distance of the top four of the Premier League and with realistic hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
However, following his side's 0-0 draw at home to Manchester United on Sunday, Pochettino said he would not discuss reinforcements with the club's management hierarchy until after their New Year's Day meeting with Chelsea.
He said: "We are happy with our squad and I think that when January 1 arrives, we will start to talk with the club."
Both Tottenham and Manchester United failed to find top form in their stalemate at White Hart Lane and although United boss Louis van Gaal afterwards blamed the congested Christmas schedule, Pochettino had no complaints.
His side have now taken seven points from a possible nine in the Christmas period and the Argentinian was quick to defend the fixture list.
"The condition was for both teams the same," he said. "I never complain when the opponent is in the same condition as you.
"I think that Tottenham, from the beginning of the season, is the team that has less recovery days in all competitions. We are in every competition that we enter and I never complain about that."
