Former Sweden Under 21 international enjoyed his loan spell

Fulham winger Alex Kacaniklic wants to inject his wizardry into Martin Jol's team and earn a place in his starting line-up. The 21-year-old joined the Cottagers in August 2010 but only made his debut this March after he returned to Craven Cottage having blossomed during a loan period at Watford. Kacaniklic, a former Sweden Under 21 international, now wants to build on the experience he garnered at Vicarage Road and propel himself into his manager's plan this campaign. "Last year was a really good six months for me, first the loan deal to Watford and then coming back to Fulham and getting some games here," he told the Fulham Chronicle. "The loan spell gave me the opportunity to play first-team football. Reserve-team football is one thing, but first-team football is where it counts. "I really enjoyed myself and am pushing for a place in the team for this year."
