Midfielder not ruling out Champions League spot

Hatem Ben Arfa thinks Newcastle's team spirit can help them finish in the top four this season and claim a Champions League spot. The Magpies have been somewhat of a surprise package in the league this season and are currently sixth in the league, but just three points behind fourth placed Tottenham. Four straight league wins means confidence is high on Tyneside and the 25-year-old thinks the togetherness of the squad means they have a chance of getting the final place with Europe's elite. "I don't know if it is the best experience of togetherness I have experienced in my career but I can say that all the players feel very good in the dressing room," the winger told the Daily Star. "The first target is Europe, but then why not the top four? If we can keep winning we will see. "We don't believe it is easy to win games in this league because every game is difficult. "But if we can carry on with this spirit of everybody being together, then why not?" The run of victories has coincided with the Frenchman becoming a regular in the Magpies side and led to talk of an international recall for Euro 2012. Ben Arfa added: "I am enjoying this run of games but more important is that we keep winning matches."
