Kean hails new contract for midfielder

Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn has handed the club a boost by signing a new deal at Ewood Park. Dunn, who has come through the ranks at Blackburn, has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2013. The 32-year-old had a four-year spell at Birmingham City before returning to Blackburn in 2007 and the new deal means the midfielder will have spent ten years at Blackburn. Rovers boss Steve Kean was delighted to secure the long-term future of the former England international. "Everyone knows that, not only is David Rovers through and through, but he remains a top player and key member of our squad," Kean told the club's official website. "He has been at the top of his game over recent weeks and we are all delighted to see him extend his association with the club."
