Striker honoured to be linked with French champions

Diomansy Kamara insists he is not looking to leave Fulham after being linked with a move to French champions Bordeaux. The Senegal striker has been lined up as a potential signing for Bordeaux if Marouane Chamakh seals his desired switch to the Premier League. Kamara joined Fulham for £6million from West Brom two years ago, but injury restricted the 28-year-old to just three starts in the league last season. He concedes he is flattered to be mentioned as a target for Bordeaux, but is focused on enjoying an injury free campaign at Craven Cottage. "It is a great honour to be linked with the French champions, but I have had no contact yet - maybe my agents have," Kamara told skysports.com. "However, I have a contract until 2011, so it is up to the club. "I am not asking to leave, but if there is a deal that can make everyone happy, you never know. "But I like it here and I am looking forward to a great season without injury."
