Midfielder working with a ball for first time in over a year

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is tipping Tomas Rosicky to be the 'good surprise of the season' after revealing that the midfielder is making positive progress in his rehabilitation. The Czech playmaker has been sidelined with a hamstring injury for over a year but recently resumed training. Wenger feels Rosicky has a chance of returning to action in 'six or seven weeks' with the player now working with a football on the training field. He told the club's official website: "I just left him. He is working on the pitch. "He has touched the ball for the first time this week and we are quite positive about him, maybe more than he is. "He could be the good surprise of the season because in six or seven weeks he has a chance to be back."
