Striker hopes to help keep Baggies in the Premier League

Ariza Makukula has told skysports.com that he is relishing the chance to play in the Premier League as he looks to secure a loan move to West Brom. Benfica have confirmed that the striker has travelled to England to undergo a medical at the Hawthorns ahead of a proposed loan deal. The Portuguese forward has struggled for regular football this season and is hoping to fulfil a dream by playing in the Premier League. And Makukula also expressed his desire to score the goals which could help West Brom survive in the top flight this season.

Happy

"I am happy to be coming to the Premier League to prove myself," Makukula told skysports.com. "The Premier League is the best league in the world. "At Benfica, I was not in the plans of the manager. "I will do my best to save my new team in the Premiership. I have always dreamed of playing here in England. "I have to deliver goals for us to stay in the Premiership, and hopefully earn a contract. I am looking forward to my debut."
