Harry Redknapp has hinted Adel Taarabt could be ready to make an impression in Tottenham's first team.
The young Frenchman became a forgotten man under Juande Ramos' regime at White Hart Lane, with the playmaker not even given a squad number.
However, upon his appointment Redknapp has spotted real potential in the player and is ready to incorporate him into his thinking.
Redknapp concedes some of the things Taarabt does in training are a revelation and it could be the player's talent will soon be employed in the Premier League.
"If we can get him playing he is a genius," said Redknapp.
"He's an amazing talent, I've not seen too many with that type of skill in my life. It's frightening.
"It's a case of trying to find a position for him and getting him fit enough to play. Getting him to do a bit when he's not got the ball.
"But he's only a kid. This is a real talent. A match-winner. So I'm sure we're going to see a bit of him in the next few weeks."
