League One leaders see off 10-man Luton

Swansea have moved an impressive 14 points clear at the summit of League One with a hard-fought 1-0 success over Luton. The lowly Hatters set their stall out from the start and frustrated Roberto Martinez's side by going in at the break at 0-0. Swansea had chances to open the scoring, although Luton were not without opportunities of their own and looked dangerous on the break. However, their resistance was dented on 69 minutes when Sol Davies was dismissed for collecting a second yellow card for a foul on Thomas Butler. Swansea capitalised on their numerical advantage by forging ahead in the 79th minute through Butler. His 25-yard effort taking a deflection off Lewis Emanuel into the net. The goal proved the game-winning effort; a victory that sees Swansea move well clear of Doncaster and on course to become League One champions.
