Frenchman is loving life back in the Premier League

Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse is aiming to boost his goal ratio to help the Black Cats launch a surge up the Premier League. Cisse has scored twice since joining the Black Cats from Marseille in August and the former Liverpool striker now has Fulham, Newcastle and Stoke in his sights. "People expect me to score goals and that's what I am trying to do," said Cisse. "At the moment I have two. That's not bad for a new player. "Hopefully I can add more goals over the next two weeks because we need to pick up a good number of points from our next three games."

Proud

Cisse spent two years away from the Premier League and believes it has developed further in that time. "It's a hard league, the best in the world, so I am really proud to be back and playing for Sunderland," the French forward told the club's official website. "It's good to play against the best players. Football here is a lot quicker and stronger than in France and it's improved so much over the last few years."
