Juventus fan Nicolo De Marchi is expected to arrive in Berlin on Friday after walking from Turin.

A ticket to Saturday’s Champions League final between Juve and Barcelona is waiting for De Marchi providing he completes his epic 683-mile trek.

The 22-year-old embarked on the journey after promising to go by foot when Juventus asked fans on their Twitter account “if we get to the final” ahead of their semi-final win over Real Madrid and promised to go by foot.

Juve promptly booked their place in the final after defeating the 10 times European Champions 3-2 on aggregate and De Marchi set off from the Stadia di Alpi on May 28.

He has since passed through Italy, Austria and Switzerland and crossed into Germany on Monday.

However, the epic journey, which he has for some parts been allowed to use a bike, has taken its toll and he has been forced to delay his arrival in the German capital.

“The fatigue is so great... arrival postponed to tomorrow,” De Marchi posted on his Instagram account.

The last Juventus captain to lift the Champions League trophy, Gianluca Vialli, speaks to Sky Sports about what it takes to win Europe's biggest prize.

Juve, who received countless offers from fans trying to get a ticket to the final, replied to De Marchi with their own post on Thursday.

“Just 160km separate you from Berlin. One last push,” posted the Serie  A champions who are aiming to win their first European Cup since 1996.
