A Spanish court has charged two former presidents of Osasuna and another four ex-board members following a match-fixing investigation involving the Pamplona club.

All six were arrested over the previous two days as part of an investigation into the disappearance of at least 2.4 million euros from the club's coffers between November 2013 and June 2014.

Former club presidents Miguel Archanco and Patxi Izco and ex-board members Txuma Peralta, Angel Vizcay, Juan Pascual and Diego Maquirriain have been charged with misappropriation of funds, false accounting, falsifying documents and corruption.

Peralta was denied bail by the regional court of northern Navarra while Archanco's bail was set at 500,000 euros and the other four were released.

Osasuna, who are alleged to have used financial incentives to influence the results of relegation matches, dropped out of Spain’s top flight last May after 14 years despite beating Real Betis on the final day of the season.
