Charlie Nicholas has tipped Swansea City to beat Liverpool in Tuesday night's Capital One Cup fourth-round tie at Anfield.
With the Reds struggling in the Premier League, Nicholas expects Garry Monk’s side to pile on the misery for the Reds led by striker Wilfried Bony.
Speaking on the Morning View on Sky Sports News HQ, the former Scotland international said: “They [Liverpool] need a spark, a lift.
“They don’t have [Daniel] Sturridge and have a lack of choices they can pick.
“Liverpool are really struggling for form. I think in Wilfried Bony, a very big danger is coming Liverpool’s way.
“I could see this going to extra time and Swansea winning it.”
Meanwhile, former Southampton defender Francis Benali has also predicted another shock in the Cup tie between Bournemouth and West Bromwich Albion.
Speaking on the Morning View, Benali said the Championship side will be high on confidence after their 8-0 mauling of Birmingham City at the weekend.
He said: “I wouldn’t be surprised (if they won) as they’re coming into the game with great confidence on the back of 8-0 victory over Birmingham.
“They’re the home side that does count for a certain amount, with the crowd behind them and confidence behind them. They’re a good footballing side."
