Sky Sports understands Walsall are in talks with highly-rated non-league goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray.
The 21-year-old, who has previously been linked with Premier League club Newcastle United, currently plies his trade for Skrill Conference North side Harrogate Town.
After featuring heavily throughout Town’s season, the Saddlers have registered their interest in the youngster – who has been earmarked as ‘the next Joe Hart.’
It is also understood that Bradford are interested in the Harrogate stopper, but Walsall remain the favourites for his signature.
