West Ham midfielder Antonio Nocerino wants to stay in the Premier League beyond this season, with Upton Park his preferred choice.
The 29-year-old started only his second game for the Hammers in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in midweek since joining on loan in January, and has only a handful of substitute appearances to his name.
However, despite playing such a peripheral role for Sam Allardyce's men, Nocerino has seen enough to encourage him to want to extend his time in the England's top flight.
"I'm at West Ham on loan but I hope to stay in the Premier League even in the next season," Nocerino told Corriere dello Sport.
"West Ham take my precedence over all other clubs, because they gave me confidence when AC Milan no longer believed in me.
"I'm fine in England, here there's a different mindset and a lot less pressure than in Italy."
