Sky Sports understands Yeovil Town are closing in on the signing of former Southampton striker Sam Hoskins.
Hoskins is available on a free transfer after being released by Southampton at the end of last season.
The 20-year-old came through Southampton's youth academy and made four appearances for the first-team during his time at St Mary's.
Hoskins had loan spells at Preston, Rotherham and Stevenage while at Southampton to get some regular first-team football under his belt.
Yeovil boss Gary Johnson is thought to be an admirer of Hoskins and is hopeful of bringing in the striker as he plans for next season in the Championship.
