Chelsea midfielder Ramires is hoping to reach the UEFA Europa League final and take on former club Benfica after both teams reached the last four of the competition.
The Brazil international spent the 2009-10 season with the Portuguese club before leaving for Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have been drawn against Swiss side Basel in their semi-final tie, while Benfica will take on Turkish club Fenerbahce.
Ramires is hoping he gets the chance to see some familiar faces if Chelsea meet Benfica in the decider.
He told Globo Esporte: "I actually would like to return to the Estadio da Luz (Benfica's stadium), where I was very happy but if I was to play against Benfica, I would prefer it to be in the final.
"It would be wonderful to see my friends again and the club, who I am greatly associated with.
"Now we will work hard to see that it happens. It won't be easy for us or for Benfica.
"Basel and Fenerbahce are playing great football and we will need to make a big effort."
