Sheffield Wednesday striker Jay Bothroyd is delighted to be reunited with manager Dave Jones following his loan move from Queens Park Rangers.

Bothroyd previously played under Jones for three years at Cardiff City and moved to Hillsborough last week on a deal until January.

The England cap had scored just twice in 21 Premier League appearances for QPR and is confident Jones will help him to rediscover his best form.

"I'm back with Dave Jones and I'm looking forward to it," said the 30-year-old.

"I know him well and he knows how to get the best out of me.

"It's going to be a good test but I just want to start playing football again and get scoring goals.

"It's a massive club and they're striving to get to the Premier League."
