Alexander Tettey of Rennes could be closing in on a move to Norwich City.
The Norwegian international midfielder has visited the Canaries this week but talks about a move are yet to open, with Turkish side Kasimpasa also thought to be showing an interest in the 26-year-old.
"We have been in Norwich today and visited the club," Tettey's agent, Bjorn Tore Kvarme, told Adresseavisen.
"There is no contract signed, but it might happen. The most important thing is that it is right for Alex, where he will enjoy it on and off the pitch."
Chris Hughton has signed Sebastien Bassong from Spurs and brought in Javier Garrido on loan since Norwich's 5-0 defeat to Fulham on the opening day of the Premier League season.
Sky Sports sources also understand the Canaries are in talks to sign Anderlecht's Argentinean midfielder Lucas Biglia on loan.
