New Swansea City signing Jonathan de Guzman has hailed the Premier League as 'the biggest league in the world'. The 24-year-old Dutchman joined the Premier League side from Villarreal on a season-long loan deal earlier this summer. De Guzman and new Swans manager Michael Laudrup worked together at Real Mallorca, and the former Feyenoord midfielder is delighted to have rejoined the Dane in Wales. "The Premier League is a difficult league and is at a higher level than I have played at before," he said. "It is probably the biggest league in the world and I looking forward to being part of it. The club is good and the people have been very welcoming. "Pre-season has been good for us and hopefully we can make our stamp on the league this season." Swansea will begin their 2012/13 Premier League campaign with an away game against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday August 8th.
