The agent of highly-rated Internacional striker Damiao claims to have held an informal discussion with AC Milan regarding his client's future.
The Rossoneri are in the market for attacking talent after agreeing to offload Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris St Germain.
A lot of their attention has been focused on South America, with the club having enjoyed considerable success in the Brazilian market in the past.
Damiao is the latest Samba star to fall on to their radar, with the 22-year-old seemingly destined to be plying his trade in Europe before too long.
An impressive strike rate for Internacional has attracted plenty of attention - with Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur also said to be keen - while earning him a regular role with the Brazil national side.
Milan are fully aware of his potential and Damiao's representative in Italy admits they have already sounded out a possible approach.
"It was just an informal meeting, a quick conversation," said Stefano Castagna.
"There has been no move for Damiao at the moment, but Milan like the player.
"We will see in the future if they want to hold further talks.
"It was not a negotiation and I do not know when or if Milan will make a move."
