Agent says he will stay with PSG

Marco Verratti's agent insists that he will not be heading to AC Milan on loan as part of the deals for Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The exciting young midfielder is poised to complete a move to Paris St Germain from Pescara in a €15million deal. Reports in Italy had claimed the 19-year-old could very well be loaned straight to AC as part of the moves for Silva and Ibrahimovic - but this has been denied. "They are absolutely false. I don't know where these rumours came from," his agent Donato Di Campli said of the links with AC. "If Verratti is purchased by PSG he will stay in France to play under coach Carlo Ancelotti." Verratti is now in France and is expected to complete his move in the next few days. PSG, who have already finalised the deal for Silva, are hopeful of sealing the Ibrahimovic deal this week too. Pescara's prized asset has seen his move to the oil rich Parisians stall while Silva - who moved on Saturday - and Ibrahimovic switched clubs, but he is expected to eventually complete his move to Ligue 1.
