Dutch keeper says he has 'no reason' to leave Serie A giants

Goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg insists he is happy at AS Roma and is looking forward to working with new head coach Zdenek Zeman. The capital giants struggled for consistency in Serie A last season under former coach Luis Enrique as they ended the campaign in a disappointing seventh position. The 29-year-old Dutch shot-stopper, who signed for the Giallorossi from Ajax last summer, says he has no plans on leaving. "I've never thought about leaving, I have no reason to," the custodian told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I'm happy in Rome, I have a contract and the team is good. "Zeman? I've heard that he likes to play attacking football and that was the case with Luis Enrique too, so I'm used to that. "I know that Zeman has already coached Roma before and that he did a good job - I have no motive to worry. "Roma will be good enough to start again, as will Holland."
