Spaniard's agent says West Ham are mulling over move
The agent of Spanish veteran Guti has claimed that West Ham are considering a move for the former Real Madrid midfielder.
Guti, who won the UEFA Champions League three times with Real, is available on a free transfer after being released by Turkish club Besiktas.
He is now thought to be a transfer target for West Ham, with reports suggesting that Sam Allardyce has agreed to take the 35-year-old on the club's pre-season tour of Austria.
Guti's representative, Barry O'Connor, said in The Sun: "West Ham will make a final decision before the season starts."
West Ham won promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs and Allardyce is understood to want a few more experienced players before the new campaign kicks off.
A deal has already been finalised this week to bring in goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen following his departure from relegated Bolton.
