French striker explains reasons for decision after leaving Inverness

Gregory Tade has revealed that the lure of European football was an important factor in his decision to make the move to St Johnstone. The 25-year-old French striker has signed a pre-contract with the Perth club after leaving SPL rivals Inverness. The deal is for a minimum of one year and Tade is looking forward to the new challenge after admitting he did have a lot of options. In a statement, he said: "Over the last few weeks it has been very intense with various clubs showing interest in me.

Inverness thanks

"I felt that my first season in the SPL went very well and it was important to build further on that form. "I had great advice from Pro Legal Sports Management regarding my options and decided that I should expand on last season by staying in the SPL with St Johnstone. "I will also be given the opportunity to play in Europe which is hugely important. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Terry Butcher and everyone connected with Inverness FC for their support throughout my time at the club."
