South Korean ace to take time over his future

Lee Chung-yong has not decided on his future at Bolton but reassured the club that it is not a priority at this moment in time. The 24 year-old, who was sidelined for most of this season with a broken leg, is seen by Trotters boss Owen Coyle as a key figure in their bid to return to the Premier League next term. Newcastle United and Turkey's Trabzonspor have already been linked to the South Korea international but Lee has said he will take his time to think over his future. "I haven't thought about my future yet," Lee told The Bolton News. "The season has just finished and I just want to take some holiday now. I'm not going to hurry to think about my future because we have a few months before next season, but I can say now that I am a Bolton Wanderers player."

Promotion target

The former FC Seoul star admitted he had not prepared for relegation but Coyle reassured the team that they would make a swift return to the top flight. "I couldn't imagine that we are going down to the Championship. And I didn't expect that when we started the season," he said. "But it has happened. It could be much better if we stayed in the Premier League, but I couldn't do anything because I was injured. "I'm fully fit now, but I will keep training for next season. "On our last day of the season the manager said we have many young, talented players and we can give a good performance in the Championship, so we can come back into the Premier League next season."
