He's the new Bierhoff, says Dutchman's agent

Heerenveen striker Bas Dost will not be moving to Aston Villa after his agent revealed the player wants to go to a "top club". The 22-year-old Dutchman has been a revelation in the Eredivisie this season, firing 28 goals as Heerenveen continue to battle for an unlikely second-place finish. This stunning form has led to interest from clubs all over Europe, including Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. But Villa appear unlikely to secure Dost's signature given the comments of his Italian agent Carmine Coviello. Coviello told sportmediaset.it: "He refused a proposal from Aston Villa because he wants to go to a top club. "We're offering him to clubs which can spend €10-13 million, because this is Heerenveen's request. "They are (asking for) a lot of money, but Dost is a monster in scoring. "He has a nose for goal and technique. He can remind me of (Oliver) Bierhoff." Bierhoff played 70 times for Germany, scoring 37 goals , and starred for numerous clubs including AC Milan.
