Everton star Marouane Fellaini has called on the club's board to splash the cash this summer to bolster the squad.
The Toffees saw their FA Cup dreams ended by Liverpool at the weekend as the Reds came from behind to win 2-1 at Wembley and book their place at next month's showpiece final.
Fellaini believes they need to strengthen and buy big this summer if they are to take the step to the next level and compete for honours on a regular basis.
"I would love for us to get in some reinforcements," said Fellaini. "It would make us more competitive.
"I hope that the chairman will be able to loosen the purse strings during the summer."
