Seasiders offered promotion incentive

Ian Evatt admits Blackpool have been offered added motivation in their promotion push by the promise of a reported £5million windfall. The bumper bonus will be shared between those in the Bloomfield Road camp should they bounce back into the Premier League at the first time of asking. Chairman Karl Oyston has vowed to stump up the cash, with it his desire to see the Seasiders mixing with the best in the business in 2012/13. A 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday helped to consolidate Blackpool's standing inside the play-off places and defensive lynchpin Evatt is hoping Ian Holloway's side can end the season in style.

Riches

He said: "It's obviously at the back of our minds as players and something that drives us on that little bit more for promotion. "Our pay is not the biggest in the division, but we all know the rewards if we do manage to get into the Premier League. "It was agreed before the start of the season and is something that all the players want for themselves and their families. "We're desperate to get back because the riches on offer for the club are massive."
