Villa boss urges striker Bent not to rush himself back

Alex McLeish has revealed Aston Villa could make a move for goalkeeper Marian Kello following his early release from Hearts. The 29-year-old shot-stopper has not played at Tynecastle since January after rejecting a move to Austria Vienna. And now Kello is looking to impress potential new employers south of the border, with the West Midlands club reportedly favourites to land the Slovakia international. With backup keeper Brad Guzan's deal expiring in the summer, McLeish could be on the lookout for a new No.2 to Shay Given. "We have looked at a lot of goalkeepers in case Brad decides to leave us. We have looked at some potential No.2s," said McLeish in the Express & Star. "I think we are looking at his (Kello) situation but it doesn't mean we are signing him as we are looking at a number of goalkeepers. "We will try and take goalkeepers on trial if we can first and foremost if Brad tells us he doesn't want to stay."
