Midfielder would like Ipswich stay with contract running down
Ipswich midfielder Grant Leadbitter admits he does not know where his future lies as he comes to the end of his contract.
Leadbitter's current deal expires at the end of the season and has yet to agree fresh terms at Portman Road.
A number of clubs are thought to be waiting in the wings to sign Leadbitter on a free transfer, with Ipswich boss Paul Jewell hoping to hold talks with the former Sunderland man in the next few weeks.
The 26-year-old admits he would be happy to remain with the Tractor Boys, but concedes his future is up in the air.
"I would like to stay at Ipswich - I have never said I wanted to leave. But at the moment, I don't know what is going to happen," Leadbitter told the Green'Un.
