Rs boss eager for playmaker to cut out mistakes

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has urged Adel Taarabt to learn from his mistakes sooner rather than later. It was Taarabt's error in the club's last home game against Everton that gifted the Toffees the lead with the home side having to hit back to draw 1-1. The former Tottenham man lost the ball in midfield before on-loan Royston Drenthe lashed home a drive from 30 yards out. Taarabt shone in the Championship last season and Hughes believes he needs to learn that any slip-ups in England's top flight will be punished. "I have no problem with players having confidence trying to affect the game in their own way - either in their own half or the other half," he told the Fulham Chronicle. "But if you make wrong decisions the consequences can be great. "Adel will learn from his mistakes, and what he could get away with in the Championship, you sometimes come a cropper in the Premier League."
