The German outfit have won just one of their last 10 Bundesliga games but pride themselves on their stability and are determined to show faith in the current set-up. "Our club has been a real role model in terms of continuity in the last few years, we have to confess," Stuttgart chairman Gerd Mauser told the club's official website. "This is why it had been of the utmost importance for me to keep up with the good things that have been worked out in recent months. Now we are able to do so. "We have the ambition to be able to push for a berth in a European Cup competition. However, this should be without any risks concerning are financial solidity. "Fredi Bobic is a former professional, he is exactly aware of all the goings-on behind the scenes and has been doing a great job for the club so far. "Jochen Schneider is an expert who is well respected within the whole Bundesliga. We are happy to have signed them on new contracts." The 40-year-old Bobic was the Bundesliga topscorer as a player with Stuttgart in the 1995-96 season and took over the reins at the club in the summer of 2010.
