Celtic defender Thomas Rogne insists his side remain focussed on their own game rather than Nikica Jelavic's exit from rivals Rangers. Rangers' top-scorer Jelavic made the switch from Ibrox to Goodison Park on transfer deadline day to join Everton in the Premier League. However, Rogne is adamant that the exit does not mean that Celtic can ease off in their bid to win the Scottish Premier League. The 21-year-old Norwegian understands that his side must remain focussed on their own game with their lead only one point at the top of the table.

"We don't focus on other teams too much," he said. "We know Rangers is a good team no matter what. "At the weekend they didn't have Jelavic and they still won 4-0 against Hibernian so Rangers is always going to be a good team and so are the other teams in the SPL." The January transfer window closed on Tuesday night before Ally McCoist was able to enlist a replacement for Jelavic so goal hopes will remain in the hands of David Healy and Kyle Lafferty. Celtic will travel to Hearts on Wednesday to play their game in hand with the opportunity to extend their lead to four points at the head of the table with Rangers not in action until February 11 when they visit Dunfermline.
