Stoke defender Danny Higginbotham has joined Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old joined the Championship side after agreeing personal terms at the City Ground and could make his debut on Sunday against Derby.
Fittingly, that game would be against one of his former teams and in what should be an emotional occasion for the player.
Higginbotham was a key part of Tony Pulis' side which gained promotion to the Premier League.
However, he's struggled to gain first-team football at Stoke this season after he returned from an eight-month absence with an knee ligament injury.
