Sky Sports understands Leicester are lining up a loan move for Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso.
Leicester boss Nigel Pearson is looking to bolster his attacking options and he has targeted a move for the England Under-21 international.
Delfouneso has found first-team opportunities at Villa Park limited this season and the arrival of Robbie Keane from LA Galaxy has pushed him further down the pecking order.
The 20-year-old, who has come through the ranks at Villa, has made only two starts this season and six appearances in total for Alex McLeish's men.
Villa might be prepared to loan out Delfouneso so that he can get some regular action under his belt.
Leicester are hoping to agree a deal in time to have Delfouneso available for Monday's trip to Southampton, live on Sky Sports HD1.
