Red Devils midfielder to stay at London Road until end of February

Peterborough United have extended the loan deal of Manchester United teenager Ryan Tunnicliffe until the end of February. Tunnicliffe has made 24 appearances for Posh since joining from United last summer and has recently recovered from injury and illness. His initial loan expired after Monday's 1-1 draw with Birmingham City, but a deal has been agreed for the midfielder to remain at London Road. As the arrangement is a youth loan, all three parties can agree to a further extension at any point for Tunnicliffe, who has yet to make his Red Devils debut. The 19-year-old has been given permission to play in Peterborough's FA Cup third round tie against Sunderland on Sunday, along with Scott Wootton, who is also on loan at Posh from the Premier League club.
