Posh keen to extend midfielder's loan deal

Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has admitted terms have still not been agreed over a possible extension of Ryan Tunnicliffe's loan from Manchester United. Tunnicliffe's stay at London Road is set to expire after the home game against Birmingham at the start of 2012. Posh are keen to prolong the deal for the teenage midfielder until the end of the season but talks are still ongoing. "We still haven't got that resolved yet," said manager Ferguson, who confirmed that fellow Manchester United loanee Scott Wootton will remain with the Championship club until the end of the campaign. Tunnicliffe missed the Boxing Day win at Nottingham Forest with a dead leg while illness may keep him out of the trip to Middlesbrough on New Year's Eve.
