Croatian ace would relish chance to join Serie A club
Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic has admitted he is flattered by reports linking him with a move to Serie A club Lazio.
The Croatia international is a bit-part player at the Allianz Arena and wants regular football in order to cement his place at Euro 2012.
Olic believes he is not part of manager Jupp Heynckes' plans and the 32-year-old is ready to move onto pastures new.
The former Hamburg man knows Miroslav Klose well from their time together with Bayern and he would love a reunion at Lazio.
Flattered
"I've understood that I won't be re-entering into Heynckes' plans and not playing could compromise my place at the Euros," he told Tuttosport.
"I'm honoured by the interest from an important team such as Lazio and I hope it will soon become more than simple interest.
"I haven't received an offer but I know that like me they're an ambitious team and then also I would be able link up again with Klose.
"It would be great to be able to play together again."
