Skysports.com understands Jeff Hendrick is poised to sign a new deal at Derby to end speculation over his future.
The Rams have been in talks with Hendrick for the last few months as they look to secure the long-term future of the promising midfielder.
Hendrick, who made his first-team debut at the back end of last season, has established himself as a key player in Nigel Clough's plans this term.
A number of Premier League clubs are believed to be tracking the Republic of Ireland Under 21 international and Derby have been keen to ward off their interest by giving Hendrick a new and improved contract.
A deal is now thought to have been agreed by both parties with Hendrick expected to put pen to paper on a new three-year deal before the end of the week.
