Gunners star anticipates three-week absence
Arsenal defender Andre Santos looks set to miss the busy festive period after claiming he will be out of first-team action for three weeks.
The Brazilian left-back injured his left ankle in the Gunners' 3-1 defeat at Champions League rivals Olympiakos on Tuesday night.
Santos' absence leaves Arsene Wenger with a huge headache ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Everton at the Emirates.
It leaves Wenger without a fit recognised full-back as Santos joins Kieran Gibbs, Bacary Sagna and Carl Jenkinson on the sidelines.
Santos, who joined the Gunners in a £6m deadline-day deal from Turkish side Fenerbahce, said: "I twisted my ankle in a silly move.
"The doctor thinks I'll be out for three weeks."
He also looks set to miss important games against Manchester City, Aston Villa and Wolves.
