Dutchman eyes season-long run

Middlesbrough striker Marvin Emnes insists that they could go the whole season undefeated. Boro currently sit second in the Championship after their third successive goalless draw at the weekend. The Teessiders are the only undefeated side left in the Championship and they equalled a 101-year club record of going ten games at the start of the season undefeated with their point at Reading And Emnes is confident that they can maintain their excellent record, saying: "It's not a worry for us. I hope we can stay unbeaten for the season. It's going to be hard but if we stick together and work hard you never know. "We've got a tight squad so the most important thing is to stay fit and keep working hard for each other." After three blanks in three games, the Dutchman - the club's leading scorer - was disappointed not to score. "As a striker you always want to score goals. I thought a sneaky 1-0 win would have suited us, but it's okay," he said. "I had a good time of it in the first few games of the season and I'm sure the goals will come again."
