Queens Park Rangers are keen to send Lee Cook out on loan and have promised to cover any costs should he suffer another injury setback.
The midfielder has been left out of Neil Warnock's 25-man squad for Rangers' Premier League campaign.
Having been dogged by injuries over recent years, the top-flight new boys are reluctant to gamble on his fitness.
They are, however, keen for him to go and get games elsewhere, allowing him to recapture his match sharpness.

With the loan window set to open on Thursday, they are hoping there will be plenty of interest in the 29-year-old.
They are aware that Cook's injury record may put some sides off, but have vowed to repay any loan fees incurred should the former Watford man break down again.
"We're happy to pay back any loan fee paid for Lee Cook to a club that takes him if he breaks down during the loan period," QPR boss Warnock said in the
Ealing Gazette.
"Nobody's worked harder pre-season, and if clubs are worried about Lee's fitness, they should know it won't cost them anything, and they could still get a very good player."
