Club to decide striker's future

Argentine striker Mauro Zarate has fuelled speculation about his future by admitting it is currently 'impossible' for him to stay at Lazio. The former Birmingham forward has been linked with a return to the Premier League over the summer, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea all rumoured to be interested in the 24-year-old. The Rome club are not actively looking to sell the frontman but have previously revealed they would consider any offer that comes in. Zarate, who is rumoured to have fallen out with coach Edy Reja, insists he does not want to leave the Biancocelesti but admits conditions at the club currently mean he may have to move on. "It's not true I want to leave Lazio," said Zarate in the Italian media. "But in these conditions it is practically impossible for me to remain. "With my team-mates everything is okay. It's the president who must decide. We must see."
