Gers boss hoping to hear if offers are accepted

Ally McCoist is waiting to learn whether Rangers' bids for Roland Juhasz and Wesley Verhoek have been accepted. The Gers boss is keen to bolster his numbers and lodged fresh offers for the pair earlier this week before their return leg against Malmo. McCoist is yet to discover whether Anderlecht will part company with Juhasz or whether ADO Den Haag are happy with Gers' bid for Verhoek. The Ibrox club have re-signed Arsenal youngster Kyle Bartley on a season-long loan this week, but McCoist still wants to strengthen. "There is a bid in for Verhoek which went in on Tuesday or Wednesday, as there is for Juhasz. We've not heard from either club yet," explained McCoist. "We need players in. I wouldn't specifically say in any position. We certainly need to strengthen defensively, in midfield and up front as well. "Just because Kyle has come in, which we're delighted with, but hopefully that will not be the end. We still need to bring two or three more in."
