Ivorian forward unable to travel to Scotland due to dental problem

Boubacar Sanogo has been forced to delay a trial period at Celtic, as he has a problem with his teeth. The St Etienne striker was due to take in a spell training with the Bhoys this week. However, the Ivory Coast international has been laid low and has been unable to make it to Scotland. His agent regrets that the opportunity has had to be put on hold, but hopes Sanogo will link up with Celtic by the end of July.

Interest

"At the moment, Boubacar is not fit," Jeannot Werth told STV. "He has a problem with his teeth, so he will not be travelling to Glasgow this week. "He is not 100 per cent fit. Maybe if Celtic are still interested in one or two weeks, when Boubacar is fit, then maybe he can go to Glasgow." Boubacar, who moved to France from German side Werder Bremen, has scored eight times in 18 appearances for his country. The much-travelled 28-year-old has also spent time with Hamburg, Kaiserslautern and with UAE side Al Ain.
