Monaco defender Cedric Mongongu has yet to finalise a transfer away from the club but hopes his future will be sorted in the next week.
The 22-year-old's agent revealed earlier this month that he wanted to secure a move to Blackburn, with the Premier League club thought to be keen on striking a deal.
Fresh reports have suggested that Lyon are now interested in Mongongu and the French club would be able to offer him UEFA Champions League football.
Mongongu has refused to be drawn on where he will be plying his trade this season but is confident there will be further developments in the next few days.
"There is a real interest from various teams, but nothing is done yet and I do not want to speculate," he told skysports.com.
"Hopefully it will be resolved in a week's time for me to relax and get ready for the new season."
