Seagulls defender lands new contract
Skysports.com understands Brighton defender Inigo Calderon has agreed a new deal at the AMEX Stadium.
The Spanish right-back has been a revelation since arriving on a free transfer from Alaves in 2009.
The 29-year-old was a virtual ever-present in Gus Poyet's side last season as they stormed to the League One championship.
Calderon popped up with eight goals from defence last season and he was rewarded for his fine form with a place in the PFA League One Team of the Year.
Brighton have been keen to secure Calderon's long-term future and news of his new contract will come as a massive boost to the Seagulls ahead of the new season.
