Versatile Dutchman Danny Buijs looks set to seal a move to Scottish side Kilmarnock.
The 29-year-old has just come out of contract with ADO Den Haag and was looking to try his luck abroad having spent his entire career in Holland.
English Championship clubs Bristol City and Derby had also been interested in securing his services, along with German outfit Dynamo Dresden.
Buijs, who can play in midfield and at right-back, went close to joining Derby last summer only for the deal to fall through.
But it is thought he has now opted for a move to the Scottish Premier League.
Buijs previously played for Excelsior, FC Groningen and Feyenoord before joining ADO Den Haag in 2009.
